Mission: Mission 0 - Christening of Legacy and Crew Arrival
Location: USS Legacy
Timeline: 2261.182 0700

Bec grumbled as she readjusted her short-sleeved miniskirt duty uniform. She hated it, preferring to wear pants, but she was told by some admiral that she had to wear the skirt variant. She also hated the colour of the uniform and missed the red she used to wear. The only part of this uniform that she liked were the boots, they were much more fitting to her personality and style.

Finally, unable to readjust any further, Bec set out for the Legacy. She was excited and nervous to start her journey as First Officer, though she would not show this to anyone. Instead, she kept her face neutral as she made her way through the crowd. When she reached the boarding area, her heart started racing.

"Identification?" a bored looking security guard asked, holding a hand out to her. Bec placed her ID in the man's hand and watched as he inspected it. Once he handed it back and gave her the all clear to board the ship, she stopped at the bottom of the ramp. This was it. Legacy. It was beautiful.

A cough behind her brought her out of her thoughts and she continued up the ramp into the ship. 'First, my quarters, then I'll see if I can find Captain Jackson, she thought as she made her way down the corridor to the nearest lift. She'd studied the ship's layout during her travels. Her security training could not be ignored, and she had to know what the layout was.

Once she arrived in her quarters, finding all of her personal belongings had already been delivered, Bec let out a sigh. Part of her still expected to be told that this was a mistake, that she wasn't actually going to be First Officer, and that she had to go back to the Champlain, or even worse, back to the Drake.

A bigger part of her simply missed her brother and wished that Will could join her. She knew it was unreasonable, but still, she had thoroughly enjoyed being on the Champlain with him. Now though, they were both starting new paths as First Officers. They would remain connected, though, Will had promised to call her at least once a week.

After a quick look around the larger-than-expected quarters, Bec decided it would probably be best to meet with Captain Jackson before she spent the whole day hiding away. It wouldn't take all day to set up her quarters, but she would pretend it had and just spend the day slowly shuffling her items around. Before she could change her mind, she stepped out of her quarters and set off to find Jackson.
