General News - Status Update: September Edition
The following is a news item from Commander Cynthia Lynette Jackson a/k/a Captain Cindy.

Welcome to Legacy’s first Status Update! I will be sending these out on the first of the month to give an overview of everything that happened in the month before and of what our goals are for the upcoming month.

Other than the initial set up, I haven’t done much with the site this month. However, our Chief Medical Officer/2XO should be congratulated for the beautiful skin she put up and insists that she will be making better. I will be having both our XO and 2XO help with doing more, like creating a Wiki for us while I just try to become competent at Nova.

Sim

I’m very impressed with our crew! We started on or about August 3 and had 20 posts on the missions and 2 person logs posted, bringing us up to a total of 22 posts! I appeared in 10 posts. Other leaders were: Lieutenant Naryi Avonavi with 7, Lieutenant Commander Charlotte Hudson with 6, Ensign Neza Glenn with 6, and Lieutenant Cole Dering with 4.

Mission Recap

Captain Cynthia Jackson, who prefers to be called Cindy or Captain Cindy, has met her entire crew. She learned that her ship would have a PR Officer appointed by Rear Admiral John Wheeler that on matters of public interest would have authority that superseded herself and her XO. Captain Cindy confided to her XO that she did not trust this situation. At the Banquet after the Christening on July 4, 2261, after rousing speeches, Rear Admiral John Wheeler, after taking pictures with Cindy and Bec, confided that he believed that she was the wrong person for the job. After dressing her and Bec down for allegedly being tardy to their mission briefing, the two officers were given their first mission to explore the communications' silence of two starbases near the Klingon Neutral Zone. They were instructed to leave no later than July 5, 2261 at 1400 hours.

Objectives

*Investigate the cause of the lack of communication from Starbases K-4 and K-5 which went silent two days ago.

Player of the Month

The player of the month for August is Sable Warrioress, who plays Lieutenant Naryi Avonavi. Not only does she post with quality but somehow found the time to create two NPCs (one registered) in Ensign Martha Wachahunka and Retired Vice Admiral Baron Offen Bakergood of Old Scone.

BFMS

Most of you have already done this but if you have not, please register your character at the below site and assign them to USS Legacy, Task Force 64. Bravo Fleet and the Task Force would like as many people on there as possible, as would I.
