It was his duty shift, so PO Adama stepped off the turbolift and relieved the person sitting at the navigation station.

While he checked the readings, the helmsman sat at the station next to his.

He looked over, to introduce himself.

"Petty Officer Lee Adama."

Xenia was making a few adjustments to her console when her neighbor sat at his station. When he introduced himself after a few moments, she grinned to herself before looking up at Petty Officer Lee Adama. He looked fresh faced, but he wasn't so young that he was wet behind the ears. "Lieutenant Xenia Windsor," she responded, her British accent contrasting with his American. "Welcome aboard."

"Thank you lieutenant." He found her accent appealing. "Family from England?"

She gave him an amused side-eye. "With those kind of detective skills, you should be in Security or Intel." The wink came naturally with her jab.

"Thank you for the career advice, lieutenant." He checked his console. "So where in the UK?"

"Right in the heart of it all: London. And you? Where do you call home?"

"San Francisco, lieutenant. Grew up not far from headquarters." He gave her a smile. Then he leaned over, "I don't want to be out of line, but would you meet me for coffee sometime, lieutenant?"

Xenia looked at him with a raised brow, but after a few seconds nodded. "Sure. As long as I can get tea."

"Tea is acceptable." Adama turned back to the viewscreen.

Xenia turned back to her console as well. "My schedule is clear after this shift, if you're free."

Adama glanced at her. "To have tea with you, I'd make the time. So after shift then." He smiled at her.
