Love Don't Let Me Go

Mission: Mission 2 - Love ORION Mistaken
Location: Vivyra's Quarters

Jane's eyes fluttered open slowly and she found herself in a strange bed. She was naked, save for a light blanket over her. Her front was warm, as she lay spooning with an equally naked Orion woman.

She smiled at her lot in life. Two days earlier she had been in a strange downward spiral of depression, stemming from odd feelings of loss that she didn't understand. But now here she was, arms wrapped around a beautiful woman that their ship simply found. She had been badly injured and kept prisoner for some unknown reason. Jane helped free her and make her well again, and found herself enamored.

On the one hand, she never wanted to leave Vivyra's side. Lying with her in bed, chest pressed against Vivyra's back, she was warm and content and happy. On the other hand, she was badly dehydrated and knew she couldn't get back to sleep without a quick drink. So she gently released her lover and rolled away, pulling the blanket up so the girl wouldn't wake from a sudden chill to her well-shaped backside.

Not bothering with a cover (she was in private quarters with someone she was sleeping with, after all, and she loved the feeling of cool air on her skin), she walked softly into the kitchenette and got herself a glass of water. As she drank it, replenishing her fluids and refreshing her mouth, she smiled at the green form in the bed. One of the sexiest women she'd ever met got beamed into her sickbay and promptly attached herself to Jane. Since then, Jane spent the past two nights having fun with the ship's guest and enjoying some of the best sex she'd ever had.

She found herself falling fast and hard for this girl. Beautiful, sexy, in a lot of ways innocent, needing her help and able to teach her somethings in return. As she watched her sleep, she sipped her water and starting humming to herself. She couldn't help but very softly and quietly sing a short verse.

Rollin' and flying

Cold but in fever

Don't let me go."

She finished the last mouthful of water and returned to bed. She slid herself right up against Vivyra and wrapped one arm around her waist. The Orion beauty smiled as she felt Jane's hands on her, but she didn't wake to that or the gentle kiss the blue-haired doctor placed on her cheek. Refreshed, Jane lay her head on the pillow and drifted back to sleep, nose filled with the scent of Vivyra's skin and hair, smiles on both of their faces.
