| Personal History | Alec lead a pretty much normal life. Well, as normal a diplomat's kids life could really get. Born in 2235 to a pair of diplomats young Alec couldnt really put down roots with the family being shunt around from one embassy to the next. Either that of playing firefighter's to the galaxy. Growing up like this had its advantages. Experiences, meeting interesting people, etcetera. But such occasions left very little for Alac, who just wanted to have a friend. Which he found in books. Seeing as he was basically homeschooled. Added to the fact of their transient life books provided his only escape. This was basically his life from childhood until his teens. It was in his teens where he finall got fed up with it, intending to tell his parents so. It was one day in 2250 when the issue of Alacs future came up at the dinner table. The elder Totens had a diplomatic future laid out for him. Alec countered with his intention to join starfleet. After a heated discussion Alec was basically told "do what you want, but don't come back." That he did. After getting a room with an acquaintence he buckled down in his studies culminating his hs passing of the greuling starfleet entrance exams. 2252 Saw him entering the academy. An institution he spent the next eight years learning to become a doctor. Specializing is psychiatric. |
