General News - Status Update: September Edition
The following is a news item from Commander Cynthia Lynette Jackson a/k/a Captain Cindy.
Welcome to Legacy’s second Status Update! I will be sending these out on the first of the month to give an overview of everything that happened in the month before and of what our goals are for the upcoming month.
Crew
We lost two people this month and gained two people this month to stay at 11 active players, but one person has gone on ELOA.
We lost:
Lieutenant JG Jasper Noakes, Chief Helmsman due to time commitments
Lieutenant JG Alec Toten, Doctor/Counselor due to lack of posting
Our crew has welcomed:
Lieutenant Benjamin Chiles, Chief Helmsman
Lieutenant Grayson Hawk, Assistant Chief of Security
On Extended Leave of Absence:
Lieutenant Naryi Avonavi
Website
I did nothing with the site this month. However, our Chief Medical Officer/2XO has started working on it again today and insists that she will be making better. I will be having both our XO and 2XO help with doing more, like creating a Wiki for us while I just try to become competent at Nova.
Sim
For two straight months, we have had over 20 posts, with 21 this month! It did not feel like it to me. We started off really hot and then we cooled off, perhaps because I had some life issues for the second half of the month. Whatever the case, I'm hoping that the last two weeks were an aberration and that we're going to continue our streak of 20+ posts a month.
Mission Recap
Legacy took off to investigate the radio silence of the space stations K-4 and K-5 which had gone silent near the Klingon Neutral Zones. K-4 and K-5 were placed near the Borderlands and there was some suspicion that this was not the result of Klingons but Orions for reasons unknown. Nearly three days into their 4 day trip to the Klingon Neutral Zone, Legacy received an emergency signal from K-6 complaining that it was under attack from an unknown ship that disappeared after the attack. The station was in disarray and it feared the ship's return. Two hours from K-6 at warp 8, the ship reappeared briefly on the viewscreen, a ball of plasma energy attacked the station and all communications were lost. Legacy is investigating.
Objectives
*Investigate the cause of the destruction of K-6 and probably the same cause of K-4 and K-5.
Player of the Month
The player of the month for September is Kris, better known as Ensign Neza Glenn, who has been stirring up the personal scene with many crewmembers and finds ways to get involved with plot despite not being a crew chief. She also has the most posts of any non-command staff (12) in the 44 posts that Legacy has in its slightly less than 2 months of existence.
BFMS
Most of you have already done this but a few still have not. If you are one of the people who has not, please register your character at the below site and assign them to USS Legacy, Task Force 64. Bravo Fleet and the Task Force would like as many people on there as possible, as would I.

Ideas
If anyone has any ideas for character development or even some subplots, share them with us. I know that my door, as well as my XO and 2XO’s are always open. Any questions, comments, or issues, please don’t hesitate to contact the Command team. We are here for you!
That’s it for this month’s Status Update! Keep up the good work! I can hardly wait to sim more with all of you!
